MUSIC AND VIDEO PRODUCTION

FIVE ACRES STUDIOS:

Five Acres Studios was established in 2004 and hundreds of artists have recorded there since then. Owned and operated by Ryan McAllister, local producer, engineer, songwriter, and recording artist, the studio boasts a vast array of modern and vintage microphones, preamps, amps, guitars, drums, organs and pianos. It is located in a large barn-turned-studio on an acreage just outside of Abbotsford BC, 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Fellow producer and drummer Jay Stewart has recently joined the production team at Five Acres. The talented & self-deprecating duo of McAllister and Stewart often collaborate on projects creating a laid back and creative atmosphere. Projects produced at Five Acres have won JUNO and multiple CGMA awards and found placements in dozens of television and film scores.

VIDEO PRODUCTION:

For the past decade, Five Acres Studios has collaborated with Firecanvas Productions to create dozens of music and corporate videos in locations ranging from the top of the North Shore mountains to the plains of Zambia. They have invested over $50,000 in multiple high end cameras, drones, lighting and stabilizers and can create just about anything you have in mind. Our creative department has been writing music video treatments and corporate video scripts for nearly 20 years and would love to bring all of that experience, creativity and expertise to your next project.
